Rogers County Sheriff’s burger fundraiser benefits DVIS

CLAREMORE — The Rogers State University Criminal Justice society (RSUCJS) will have a bag lunch cookout to raise money for Domestic Violence Intervention Services from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m on Oct. 2 . at the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office. 

Bag lunches will cost $5 and includes one hamburger/cheesburger with condiments, a bag of chips and a drink.  All proceeds will be divided between RSUCJS and DVIS.
DVIS/Call Rape is a Tulsa-area United Way agency and is the only non-profit agency in Tulsa.  
Through the agency, surrounding communities are able to provide comprehensive intervention and prevention services to men, women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. The DVIS/Call Rape mission is to rebuild lives affected by domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, shelter, counseling and education.
