October 21, 2009 — The City of Claremore Parks and Recreation Department and the Rogers State University Student Government Association are joining forces for the second year in a row to host a free community Halloween event.
The event will kick off with the SGA Kiddie Carnival. Families are encouraged to come out for fun carnival games, face painting, candy and prizes. The carnival will end at dark, but the festivities will continue with a family-friendly outdoor movie.
A hayride will be available to take the braver kids to the RSU Nature Reserve for a walk down the Trail of Terror, put on by the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Boo Bash is set for Friday, Oct. 23, at Will Rogers Park. The Carnival will begin at 6:00 pm and the hayride, Trail of Terror and outdoor movie will begin at dark.
