OSU Extension hosts Women in Ag event

CLAREMORE — The Oklahoma State University Extension office will be hosting a “Women in Ag” seminar at 9:15 a.m. March 19 at the Rogers County Building, 416 S. Brady St. in Claremore.

There are several woman and widows that are now running farms in Rogers County, this event is designed to assist them, according to Donna Patterson.
The seminar will run until 3 p.m. and cover topics including; Ag Leasing, Navigating USDA Programs, A Farmer’s Perspective and more. Lunch will be provided with pre-registration, however participants are asked to contact the local office (918) 341-2736 prior to the event.
