Claremore Animal Shelter adoptee hopeful “Red” has been practicing at Claremore Lake for this weekend’s Dock Dog event at Claremore’s first annual “Dog Expo.” Beginning at 9 a.m., the Dog Expo 2010 will feature events to include Dock Dog challenge, stock dog demonstrations, pet contests, vertical competitions, herding trials, and more, with several vendors on site at the Claremore Expo Center for the weekend. Events begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and vendors will include representatives from local animal shelters with adoptable pets — including “Red” — to be available.
