Harold and Connie Helt of Chelsea will be celebrating 25 years of marriage. The couple was married Dec. 30, 1982, at Catoosa Baptist Church.
Harold was born in Bakersfield, Calif. and graduated from Catoosa High School. He now owns his own business Visions Hardwoods & Tile in Claremore. Harold enjoys golf, softball, fishing and watching OU football games with his wife.
Connie was born in Ames, Iowa, and she helps Harold run the business and enjoys photo projects, softball, fishing, and OU football games with Harold.
Harold and Connie met in 1978, and were introduced by Connie’s sister Dyanna, but did not start dating until the summer of 1981. The couple has four children, Joshua, who helps with the business, Jamie, who works at Keller Williams, Dustin who recently ended his tour with the Army, but rejoined the National Guard, and Chelsey, who will graduate high school this year. The also have four grandchildren, Connor, Noah, Madison, and Kelan.
The couple plan to celebrate this special day with family and friends gathering at their home. They also have planned after the first of the year a trip to Lake Tahoe for skiing in Reno, Nev.
