Tapleys mark 60th wedding anniversary

Charles and Margaret Tapley will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28, 2007. Charles and Margaret (Buwalda) were married in Rockwell City, Iowa, on Aug. 28, 1947, and lived in Sac City, Iowa for 28 years, and Storm Lake, Iowa for 25 years.

After retiring in 2000 from surveying, and owning their own business, Chuck’s Surveying and Mapping, in Storm Lake, they retired to Mesa, Ariz., wintering there and spending the summer in Storm Lake. In 2003, they moved to Claremore to be close to their son, Mark Tapley, and his wife, Donna, and their four grandsons, Michael, Brian, Scott, and Kevin.

Chuck and Margaret attend First United Methodist Church in Claremore, and are involved in many of their programs/projects.

A dinner was held for them, hosted by their son’s family, at Steak and Ale in Tulsa.
