Jerry Donald and Linda Joyce (Johnson) Reed recently celebrated 45 years of marriage. The couple was married June 2, 1962, in Claremore.
Both Jerry and Linda were born in Claremore, and attended Sequoyah Schools.
Jerry worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas for 33 years before retiring. Linda worked as a secretary at Sequoyah Public Schools for 23 years, and more recently co-owned the Peachtree Antiquary Mall in Claremore.
The couple’s children include: Stacy Sutton, and husband Johnnie, of Pryor; Scott Reed, and wife Shelley, of Vinita, and Stephanie Hadley, and husband, Charlie, of Claremore; grandchildren: Tracy Hagar, Ryan Lemmings, Bethanie Lemmings, Nathan, Gunner and Hallie Reed, Reed and Riley Hadley, Ryan Sutton, Kristen Chitwood, and Mallorie Lemmings. They also have three great-grandchildren.
