Cateses celebrate silver wedding anniversary

Richard Wayne and Nancy Lynn (Payne) Cates will soon mark 25 years of marriage. The two were wed April 29, 1983, at Regular Baptist Church in Jenks.

Richard and Nancy met when a family member introduced them at a softball game where Richard was playing. Their first date was to Ken’s Pizza when Richard met Nancy’s whole family.

The couple have two children: Clayton and Katelyn.
